Height: 32 inches (90%)
Weight: 27lbs, 6 oz (95%)
Head: still off the charts, but apparently now it's headed towards the growth chart-good news!
Clothes: shirts 2 or 3T (she most definitely has a long torso), pants 2T, dresses 24 mo or 2T
Shoe Size: 6.5
Diaper: Size 4
Hair: it curls in the back and is beautiful! It's really starting to grow long now and hopefully the front and sides will catch up with the back. She sports a sweet mullet when it's wet, but because it's so curly in the back, you can't really tell (or maybe that's mommy goggles)
Coloring: She is the tannest baby you have ever seen. I promise, we put SPF 50 on her, but she is very very tan. Seriously she may be tanner than me.
Eating: she loves fruit and vegetables, so that's great news. However, she's pretty picky about everything else. She won't eat bread (so no sandwiches), won't really eat meat or beans either. She likes eggs, yogurt, applesauce and noodles with butter a lot. She'll also eat slow cooker oatmeal and hot dogs. Her #1 food: ice cream. That's my girl :).
Drinking: She lives for her milk and I have to be careful not to give her too much. She is doing WONDERFULLY with a big girl sippy cup (the kind without the valves-so easy cleaning). She also loves water. We have yet to introduce juice.
Sleep: She takes 2 naps a day, typically both 1.5-2 hours long and she sleeps from approx. 7:30pm-6:30am
Demeanor: Claire is equal parts happy and mischievous. She finds trouble where ever she can. She is so curious and loves to open, climb up, destroy whatever it is she can. But she does it all with a big smile and a hearty laugh.
Favorite activities: dancing to music, swinging, trying on every pair of shoes in the house, carrying a purse, playing at the beach, swimming, taking walks, drawing with chalk, being outside
Not a fan of: books or tv-they require sitting down and she has no time for that
Favorite book: She really has no interest in us reading to her, she will squirm away immediately. She acts like it's torture to be read to. Sometimes she'll look through books herself and she loves the ones with mirrors, that she puts right up to her face.
Words: Hi, Dada, Mama, all done, outside and then lots of very loud screaming which typically means I'm hungry, all done, or let me outside
Look how big I am!
Not the cutest picture, but do you see how she is trying to climb up onto the bathroom counter?
