Rare Photo

Typically I am the one behind the camera, this was a nice change to get a photo of me with my two amazing children.

Star Wars Weekend

Last weekend was the final "Star Wars Weekend" at Hollywood Studios. Evan is really into Star Wars. We have no idea where that came from, but he loves to play with his characters and continuously begs us to let him watch the movies. So, we thought going to SW Weekend would be a fun way to spend our Friday evening, which it definitely was. Evan got to see Chewbacca and Princess Leia and met 3CP0. Evan, Joe and Claire also got to ride on this space ship thing (see I know very little about it all).

In addition to the Star Wars stuff, Evan is now tall enough to ride a whole new set of rides at the Disney parks, including Tower of Terror. Ever since his friend Kaila told him that they were tall enough, he has spoken of nothing else. We kept telling him it would be like his worst nightmare and that it was so scary that I would NEVER consider going on it. He didn't care, he was determined to go. So, Joe took him. I was so proud of him, he stood in line for 30 minutes, went on and didn't cry. Right after it was over, he wanted to go again, but since then has told us, he needs to be a lot older before he goes on it again, because it was pretty scary! You think? I'm glad he went on though b/c we'd be hearing about it for months if he hadn't and now he knows, maybe that's not the best ride. He went on, he enjoyed it and has made it through un-scared.

Garr's Visit

We had such a great time when Kelly, Joe, Avery, Charlotte & Mackenzie came to visit us! We were very busy showing them all of the sights and it was so much fun. It was so cool to see all 5 kids together. We kept staring at them saying, can you believe all of these kids belong to us?? Crazy. It's just so cool how Kelly and I have remained such great friends over the years and how our husbands like each other so much too! We get to see them again in July, up in Philly and cannot wait!

Claire's 3 month pictures

I took Claire to get her 3 month pictures taken a week and a half ago. I always have such a hard time narrowing down the pictures to order. Plus, with a girl, there are just too many outfit changes you have to consider! I was very happy with how they turned out.

Getting all dressed up!

 Woohoo-night out without the kids!

 Love my family :)

Joe & I got to go out on a date with Kelly and Joe while they were here! I love this picture of our family, just wish that Claire was in it too. But since she goes to bed at about 6pm these days, that surely wasn't happening! It was so much fun getting dressed up and going out for a nice dinner, especially since we got to go with Kelly & Joe.

Happiest Baby on the Block

Claire is the happiest little girl in the world! I love that she completely laughs out loud these days. You can see the progression here.

Evan's Rookie Card

This could be the cutest thing I've ever seen in  my life. I love his baseball cards! This is truly his rookie card, it may be worth millions one day :)! But for now, it's just priceless.

Claire's New Trick

She can't get completely over, but she sure likes to get on her side. She makes the loudest noise while getting onto her side. She seems to like it though, as she is sleeping in this picture. Well, either that, or she tired herself out so much, she passed out.

Swim Lessons, Best Friends/Cousins

Buds!  Maxwell watching Evan swim
 Sharing the love with Audrey

Future Best Friends?

Evan and Maxwell really are best friends. They both get so excited to see one another and can play together without fighting for hours. I hope that Audrey & Claire feel the same way about each other as they get older. It's been nice, Audrey, Maxwell and Evan have all had swim lessons at the Y around the same time as each other. They are not in the same class, but we do get to see them more frequently. Between swim lessons, tball (Evan) and soccer (Maxwell), finding a free night to hang out is pretty rare. Evan loves to watch Maxwell during his lesson and Maxwell then watches Evan. It's pretty darn cute! I hope that they stay this close forever!
