Spring Break!!

We took a mini-Spring Break vacation and went to Naples & Marco Island. We all thoroughly enjoyed the sand and the surf. Some highlights included:

Went Kayaking

Hanging out on the dock

Drinking Fresh Coconut Milk after Joe & Kevin worked tirelessly to open said coconut
Posed for photos on the secluded beach

 Went shelling
 Went for a boat ride
 Climbed trees for more coconuts
 Posed for more photos

Did a little karate on the beach

Snuggled closed to our cousins so we didn't have to walk one more step
Got dressed up for a seafood feast
Played in the sand with our family

 Sword fought with cousins
 And most importantly....LAUGHED!

Claire & Audrey

4 months apart in age, equally as feisty! Love them both!!

Karate Belt Promotion-High Orange Belt!

Last Thursday, Evan earned his high orange belt (orange belt with black stripe in the middle). Apparently, until you are 6, you get 1/2 belts each time (way for them to perfect a young child's skill at a slower pace take more of your $$$). Anyway, you would have thought it was Christmas at our house, Evan was so excited about his belt promotion!! He loves karate, is obsessed with karate and seriously eats, lives and breathes it. I like the fact that he is so well disciplined and respectful and he is just very cute about it all. He spends his days dreaming of becoming a 10th degree black belt (highest you can be). Looks like we'll be joining a dojo sometime soon. But for now, congrats Evan. Job well done!

The key to most of these pictures is to look in the mirror!

Q & U Wedding

Q & U got married today in Evan's class. Apparently Q cannot go anywhere without U. Too funny, I actually learned something! The kids all were supposed to get dressed up and wear white for the occasion. Here is Evan with some of his friends.

Orioles v. Braves Spring Training Game

 Evan, Claire with their idol!
 The Schulze/Neville family
 Our friends, the Chase Family
We had a great time at our first baseball game of the year, at the Braves stadium.

Fun with Cousins!

The Neville/Schulze clan came to visit us last weekend and we all had a great time at our house and Sea World!

Claire is 2

Okay, so she turned 2 about 2 weeks ago, but I finally getting around to this post!

Some things about Claire

Height: 34 3/4 inches (75%)

Weight: 32 1/2 pounds (100%)
Head Circumference: 20 inches (still well off the charts)
Clothes: 3 or 4T shirts, 3T pants & dresses
Shoes: size 9 or 9 1/2
Diaper: size 5
Favorite food: MILK, mac and cheese, avocado, bananas, raspberries, muffins, M&Ms, noodles, apple sauce, cereal bars
Sleeping: She takes a nap everyday for anywhere between 1 1/2 hours and 3 hours, she sleeps from 7:30pm to 6:45am
Favorite Book: Princess sing along book, Clap Your Hands, anything with Elmo or Mickey
Favorite TV show: She does not pay attention to TV, yet asks for Elmo all the time. If you put on Sesame Street or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, she gets excited about the characters, but then looses interest in about 30 seconds.
Favorite Game: Ring around the Rosie, she works hard to get everyone to play with her at all times.
Favorite Activity: She loves going on bike rides with me, riding in her push car, jumping on the trampoline (she's a GREAT jumper), running, chasing after the boys, playing with her dolls and causing general trouble.
Favorite Song: She loves to sing all day long, some songs I know, others she must sing at school and I have no idea what they are. Here are the ones I know: Happy Home, Itsy Bitsy Spider, ABC song, Baa Baa Black Sheep
Milestones: She can get herself dressed and put on her own shoes, she sometimes uses the potty and she is talking up a storm these days. She is finally putting 4 words together at a time, saying things like: "Mommy, let's go outside" or "Daddy go to work on airplane". She is also excellent at knowing who every item in the world belongs to and telling you. Laundry is a fun experience with her when she identifies each piece of clothing and who it belongs to: "that's mommy's pants". She knows all body parts, including the most random ones (cheek, heel, etc). She knows most animals and their sounds.
Personality: she is strong willed, fun loving, very friendly and social, loud, happiest child alive, wild and crazy. And man can she pull at your heart strings
