Uncle Charlie hid them in lots of fun places! He did a great job :)

Happy Easter! We had a wonderful Easter celebration this year as a family of 4. We had a lazy Sunday morning opening the kids Easter baskets and eating brunch. We then went to Mass a noon (which is perfect for Claire's nap schedule) in Clermont. We then went to Sherry and Mike's to celebrate for the rest of the day. Charlie, Shannon, Audrey and Grant were also there celebrating with us. We swam, had an Easter Egg Hunt, enjoyed some tropical beverages and ate an amazing meal. It was the perfect day.

Easter Goodies:

Beach with the Hogans

 Somebody feed this boy!!
 Joe, Claire, Evan and Jill
 Claire and her daddy
 Relaxing in his beach pool
Looking sweet in her tutu bathing suit

We spend Easter Saturday with the Hogans at the beach. We had such a fun time catching up with them. Evan got to boogie board for the first time and had a blast. He did so well riding waves and even though he wiped out once, he was not deterred. I wish I had gotten a picture of him riding the waves; I was too busy chatting!!

The Rays!

Evan is now playing Tball at the YMCA on the Tampa Bay Rays. Joe is the assistant coach again this year. Evan is having a great time and playing really well. Joe and I were so impressed by how more aggressive he was in this last game. He ran after balls (big improvement!) and made a great play, by running to get the hit ball and making a perfect throw to 1st with the fielded ball. Elementary baseball sure, but this is 3 & 4 year old tball! His hitting is really strong too, he really crushes the ball. I am so proud of him out there, he does so well and most importantly, loves every minute! He must have gotten his baseball skills from dad or Uncle Bryan, b/c he most definitely did not get any from me!

Easter Egg Hunt #2

The kids had a great time celebrating Easter with their friends last week at an Easter playdate and egg hunt. The playground had some fun equipment for the big kids and the best swings for all the kids. I didn't get a picture of Claire in the swing, but that is where she spent most of her time. Evan loved climbing the rope wall!

Go Crazy

Claire loves to shake her head back and forth in a hilarious manner. All you say to her is, "Claire, go crazy" and she does it. It's just too hilarious not to share!

Easter Egg Hunt #1

The cute kids all lined up before the big hunt!

On Saturday morning, our neighbors had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in the back of our neighborhood. It was really fun getting together with some of our neighborhood friends and the Ormes. This was Claire's very 1st Easter Egg Hunt and she seemed to have a great time walking around with her basket and wearing it as a beautiful accessory :). After the Egg Hunt, they had cookie decorating and had an Easter Story Time. It was really nice and a fun way to kick off Holy Week.

Some of my favorite outtakes:

 Like Brother...
Like Sister

NOOOOO Claire! Do not steal my eggs!

The cousins

Yeah! A family photo-thanks Erin for taking this :)

What a Kodak moment, Claire is eating her basket, with her dress hiked up, Evan is wearing his!

Listening to an Easter story

Spring Fling Body Art

Evan's preschool had their spring fling on Friday full of bounce houses, games and Evan's favorite-face painting. He was thrilled to get The Hulk on his face, Spiderman on his hand and his hair spray-painted green.

Young Chefs in Training :)!

Yesterday Abby and I took Evan and Evan to a cooking class. We made all kinds of cream puffs, including something called a swan. Mmmm...sweets, something we love in this house! The boys had a good time measuring the ingredients, using the mixer and filling the pastries with frosting. I also think that they particularly enjoyed the one on one time with their mommas. The one on one time was surely my favorite part! Thanks to daddy for watching Claire and Drew so that we could go!

Looking adorable in their Easter wear

I wanted to take a few pictures of the kids before we went to see the Easter bunny. Claire was not into sitting still for the camera, but I think I captured how cute they looked regardless.

Green Beans

Claire's favorite food of the month is green beans. Canned green beans at that, they are mushier. She could eat an entire can at a time. Not a bad go-to food. I love that my kids love their greens!!
