Potty Trained!!

This post is about 2 months late, but I didn't want to jinx myself by declaring Evan potty trained and then have a huge reversion. However, he's been potty trained for over 2 1/2 months now, so I think it's safe to say he's POTTY TRAINED. This was the easiest thing I've ever done with Evan. I guess he was just ready and took to it very quickly. It went so well that he doesn't even sleep in pull-ups, he is potty trained all day and night. I must say, it's awesome not having diapers!! He's done such a great job, I'm really proud of him and he is very proud of himself.

Meeting Mater & Lighting McQueen

These guys are a lot less scary then the furry people

Hey Mater!

We went to Hollywood Studios yesterday with friends and for once the line to meet Mater & Lightning McQueen wasn't too long, so we waited for them. He loves the characters from this movie and was excited to "meet" them.

Freeze Pop Time of Year

yummy

ouch-brain freeze!!

Although it is Spring in most of the U.S. right now, it's like the middle of August here. I know, who wants to hear me complain? But it's been in the 90s with humidity and it's only May. Good lord, it'll be a long summer. However, there are many bright sides to this-going to the pool everyday, lots of beach trips, fantastic tans, awesome thunderstorms and freeze pop time. Here Evan and Jonathan are enjoying a freeze pop. It was Jonathan's first freeze pop and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it!

My first handmade gift from Evan

Ms. Kerri, the wonderful woman who watches Evan for me 2 days a week, had Evan make me this for Mother's Day. As soon as I saw it, I wept like a little baby. How precious is this?? He even put all the decorations on it himself. This is the first thing Evan has ever made for me. As much as I love my other mother's day gifts (spa gift certificate & ipod car converter), this I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Evan & Ms. Jen

Last weekend we went to our condo in Port St. Lucie for the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. As much as a hassle it can be going there since we have to clean after the previous renters (which can be a little gross), it was really nice to get away especially after I was so miserable for the previous week+ with that sinus infection. For the record, that sinus infection was the worst illness ever, I never ever want one of those again. The beach was just what the doctor ordered. We had wonderful weather and wonderful company (the Brice's). All of us had such a nice relaxing time and we found the best beach in Florida so far-Vero Beach. Now that we know of this beach, I can't wait to go back!!

The excitement at the Dolphin show at Sea World

A few weeks ago, Nani, Kathy, Mike, Connor & Griffin came to visit. We had such a great time with them. We went to Sea World, the Magic Kingdom and the beach while they were here. It was very action packed, but so worth it. Griffin seemed to have the best trip ever, he was so excited by everything, it was awesome. All the boys got along so well too, which was really nice. We also got to see Joe's cousin, Kelly and her kids Emma & Brady. Evan and I were pretty under the weather the whole time they were here (him-ear infection, me-sinus infection), so I didn't take too many pictures, which I'm bummed about. But I did get a few cute ones.
