As usual, my friend Abby did an amazing job taking Claire's pictures. I love them all so much, I cannot choose a favorite. So, here are a million of my favorites!! I cannot believe my baby girl will be 2 in 10 days. Where does the time go???

Rainbow Cupcakes
Claire is having a rainbow themed birthday party this year. I have been all over Pinterest trying to find great ideas. There is a rainbow cake out there, that looks amazing.
But I think we are going to have about 50+ people at her party, so I don't seem myself making this cake for that many people (excuses, excuses...that cake looks hard!)
So, I'm trying to come up with creative ways to make cupcakes that are rainbow. The obviously answer for me is to have Publix make them and have all the icing be the colors of the rainbow. There's a good chance we'll end up with that idea. But, I wanted to be more creative, so I came up with these rainbow cupcakes. Evan was all too eager to help (or...eat the batter). But he did do a great job helping me dye the batter.
How do these look? Is it worth all the effort for something you'll only see once you eat into them?

Claire's 1st Haircut
The time finally came! I did not want to cut Claire's hair. Although she had a curly mullet, it was just so sad to me to take her for her first haircut, but I wanted her to look cute for her 2nd birthday. So, she and I headed to the Magic Kingdom for her big day and I could not have been happier with how it went and the outcome.
BEFORE
I am pretty sure she never knew she was getting her hair cut. She was so occupied by the stickers and spinning Minnie Mouse (her favorite!).
ALL READY!
Cutting off 3 inches (kind of), the hair was in a V, so a lot was taken off the middle, very little or none, across the sides
All done with her Mickey ears that say 1st Haircut!
Checking herself out in the mirror
Riding the carousel to celebrate!
It looks ADORABLE!! why did I wait so long?
In action with her new "bob"!
