As the final line in Evan's favorite Halloween book (Courdoroy's Best Halloween Ever), "It was the best Halloween ever". At least for Evan and Claire it was. They had a blast at the Halloween party in our neighborhood and then trick or treating to what seemed like every house in our neighborhood. I've never seen so much candy in my life. Two houses even gave out full sized candy bars. Some gave out coloring books (which I think is brilliant!). It was so sweet to have the kids go trick or treating with their cousins. They all had so much fun together and were wiped out when we finally arrived back home at 8:45! And I know I said it before, but the weather was wonderful. Maybe low 70s, high 60s, a little breezy. PERFECT!
