Evan is an Orange Belt
Here are some pictures from Evan's belt promotion last night. He is officially an orange belt!! Evan is so proud of himself, that he will not take the belt off, at all. He slept in it last night and has worn it with his clothes all day today. He can't wait to start up karate again after Christmas.
Sea World with the Ormes
On Monday night, Evan got to go to Sea World with Uncle Charlie, Aunt Shannon, Maxwell, Audrey, Grant and Baba. Claire and I were supposed to go, but then she got a very high fever, so she and I stayed home. They took my camera with them, and looks like they had a fun time seeing all the Christmas lights!!

Christmas Playdate
Our friends Jennifer, Bowen, Caroline & Davis hosted our annual Christmas playdate today for all of our friends. The kids all looked so adorable in their Christmas clothes. They had lots of fun decorating cookies, bouncing on the bounce house, playing dress-up, playing the Wii and playing outside. They each got adorable ornaments in the gift exchange as well. It was a great way to kick off Christmas week!
Evan's 5th Birthday Party
Evan celebrated his 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese with 22 of his friends. He was dying to have his party there, so I gave in. Although it was crazy crowded that day, it really worked out perfectly. All the kids had a great time, and they did everything for me. It was a Star Wars Themed party and in true Evan fashion, he encouraged everyone to dress up if they wanted to. Evan got a Harry Potter costume from Nani for his birthday, so he dressed as Harry Potter. Not so much Star Wars, but he looked so cute regardless!
Evan loved playing all the games, got very good at skeeball and had a blast in the ticket blaster. His favorite part, if I were to guess, was being the center of attention for the day! His other favorite, that Baba flew all the way from Arizona to be there for his special day!!
Last Flag Football Game
Evan’s last flag football game was on Saturday. He had a blast playing and really enjoyed having dad as his coach. They finished the season off with donuts, juice and a trophy. What more could a kid want??
