Claire is 8 months old!

With all the excitement of traveling up to Virginia and Maryland and then Halloween, I've skipped right over Claire turning 8 months old! She was 8 months on October 23, how time flies!! Here's some updates on Ms. Claire!

Weight: About 23 pounds, which is quite the workout for my arms!
Sleeping Patterns: takes 2 1.5-3 hour naps and 1 45 minute nap a day; sleeps from 6:30pm-5:30am, then back down until about 7-7:30am. Really trying to break her of that 5:30am, we'll see what the end to daylight savings brings us!
Eating: She is eating breakfast (oatmeal and some fruit), lunch (yogurt) and dinner (veggies, sometimes meat and a grain).  In addition, she eats about 24 ounces of formula a day. She is a big fan of the sweets and only will eat her veggies if I throw in some sweet potato puree with it. Whatever works! I'm trying to get her off of this, we'll see how it goes. Lately, she's been eating more real food. She devoured Nani's lasagna the other day, so I've been trying to introduce more and more real food. She loves ham, chicken, vanilla and cinamon oatmeal, bananas, avodcado, sweet potatoes, pears and apples. She is also digging Baby Mum Mums and puffs lately.
Diapers: Size 3-4
Clothes:  12-18 month
Shoes: 4
Favorite Books: Baby Boo, Mirror Me Baby Einstein
Favorite Song: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle
Favorite Games/Activities: Peek-a-boo, This is the way the ___ Rides (lady, racer, gentlemen)
New Tricks: Dives for things and can get herself to them by turning in a circle on her belly and pushing herself backwards. She will be crawling very very soon. She can now sit up from a lying position.

Talking/Babbling: She says "baba" and "dada" and then just talks/screams/babbles a lot. She seems to know that Joe is "dada" and almost seems to say "hi or my dada". Since Evan's first real word was "hi", will be interesting to see if Claire follows suit. She is so loud when she "talks", I cannot even describe what it sounds like.  She surely knows what she is doing and does it to get our attention, it works. There is no missing how loud it is!
Teeth: Two on the bottom, they arrived Sept. 9 & 15, 2010
Demeanor: Very happy still. She is starting to get a little attached, as we can tell when the babysitter arrives. She smiles and laughs all day long and is just a joy!
