Last weekend, we went to Sayville, NY to go visit our friends Steve, Tara, Callaghan and Quinn. We had such a great time with them! On Saturday we went to the "Apple" Festival down the street from their house. Dad & Steve were very disappointed in the lack of apples at the festival, they counted only 3 and 2 halves references of apples. So, they have decided the festival does not deserve apple in its name, they prefer "Fall Festival".
On Sunday, we went pumpkin picking and wine tasting on the North Fork of Long Island. It was so much fun. The weather was very fall like both days, which was really nice, because at home it still feels like the middle of summer. We each got our own pumpkin, how exciting, your first pumpkin ever! After we went pumpkin picking, we all went wine tasting, although only the adults drank the wine. It was a perfect day!
